sorry, I didn’t have a camera for yesterday’s lunch – today, we had a tuna and cannellini salad (red onion, celery, parsley etc) along with a mixed green and endive salad. french country from Almondine

again from di Palo’s: bresaola with a delicious cravanzina, delicate soft cow & sheep cheese from Piedmont, bedded in straw(!), beetroot and a boston lettuce salad with lemon dressing

it’s freezing, so we need some butternut squash soup (with chili powder and oil) followed by a very tasty rough Tuscan salami, sliced stayman apple, cornichons and a butter lettuce salad

it’s Friday again, so it’s off to Acme in Greenpoint (this time taking Jane D’Arensbourg) to pick up some fish. So, it’s the freshest smoked pastrami salmon with cream cheese and cucumber, on an assortment of pumpernickel, sesame multi-seed bagels
