what we made for lunch 10.03.09

a delicious sandwich with olive pesto,fresh mozzarella, grilled eggplant and roasted red pepper. looking at the size of the black olive, one would think we had a miniature sandwich but in fact the olive was massive (about 2″!) and really good – they came from Sahadis
Elsbeth was a lunch guest today while on her NY trip – welcome back!

a really good frittata(!) with zucchini, mushrooms, onion and some red and yellow roasted pepper we had along with some salad and baguette – went down well with everyone

very good tiger shrimp from wholefoods with a nice lemon /white wine /mayo dressing along with avocado and a mixed green salad; the bread is a very good multigrain boule from w.foods as well
