another arctic day – Anna’s soup of the day is homemade squash with sour cream and homemade french country croutons(!); side of two salami antipasto with baked ricotta and cornichons

it’s freezing, so soup is necessary! – tomato with olive oil and a little chili powder. White fish, cucumber, cornichon and parsley on multigrain baguette with an endive salad

it was going to be a sandwich, but took a different turn – so we have prosciutto cotto, along with that really good pecorino with saffron and peppercorn (from di Palo’s), a mixed green salad with walnuts and a new organic multigrain baguette from Wholefoods. It’s freezing cold, so tomato soup (with chili powder and olive oil) goes down well

salmon from Acme with a lemon mustard mayo dressing along with another great leftover from the potluck – Sylvia Grieser’s bavarian potato salad (even better after a couple of days) and a cucumber and parsley salad; pumpernickel bread.
