seconds! vegetarian Thai curry, courtesy of chef Jonathan Wu, who brought this to spring’s potluck yesterday – so I can’t tell you exactly what’s in it but the heat came from sorano peppers – very good and very hot!

Elsbeth, our gallery assistant makes us a traditional Dutch winter soup/stew called ‘snert’ which comprises of split peas, carrots, onions, fennel, sausage and beef.
OK, so it’s not the most glamorous(!) but tasted good, even though apparently it should be thicker

Anna has made some winter soup: swiss chard and cannellini with croutons, followed by some of that Tuscan salami, pecorino, pear and french country bread
