what we made for lunch 10.03.12
it’s back to the favorite – mackerel we brought back with us from the co-op in Italy on toasted country bread, with a little white wine vinegar, mayo, hot chili powder, cucumber and cornichons
what we made for lunch 12.31.10
ending the year with a favorite – can of mackerel (thank you Giorgio for the delivery from the co-op!) on fresh 7grain mini loaf from Pain d’Avignon with a little mayo, cucumber, cornichon and fennel top; along with a salad of butter lettuce, fennel and jalepeño – so good
what we made for lunch 11.17.10
looks like an explosion: under is our favorite mackerel (from the CO-OP) with a bit of mayo and white wine vinegar on toast; on top – watercress, cucumber, red onion, sliced jalepeño along with caper berries and pickle
What we made for lunch. 01.13.10
when there’s no one else around we can indulge in the last tin of mackerel brought back from the co-op in Italy – on toasted baguette with a little mayo, white wine vinegar and chili powder along with a salad of endive and parsley and pine nuts
