hard to see what’s going on here! actually it’s a leftover special – smoked whitefish on pumpernickel rye toast with parsley, red onion and a lemon dressing; baked eggplant, potatoes and an arugula and endive salad

today we have an open ciabatta sandwich of mozzarella, roasted yellow pepper and baked zucchini, with a little hot chili oil – pretty damn good! along with a mixed green and grape tomato salad

whole smoked white fish from Acme with lemon mayo dressing, boiled potatoes and a mixed salad – it’s a shame I forgot to bring the pumpernickel bread for this one

back from another trip to Acme bearing salmon and other good stuff – today we had baked salmon with a mustard/mayo/dill dressing and thin sliced red onion, along with mahogany rice and an arugula and fennel salad

still smiling after 5 months! Elsbeth returns to Holland but we hope to see her again in the future – doei!

Anna has made some winter soup: swiss chard and cannellini with croutons, followed by some of that Tuscan salami, pecorino, pear and french country bread
